DAMHA has retained its position as one of the top rated providers of social housing in the UK.
The national social housing regulator, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has awarded DAMHA a G1, V1 rating, demonstrating we are well governed and financially managed.
This is the highest possible rating that a housing association can achieve and to do this, DAMHA had to provide evidence that it manages its affairs with an appropriate degree of skill, independence, diligence, effectiveness, prudence and foresight; is accountable to its residents; and has a strong financial profile with the capacity to deal with a wide range of adverse scenarios.
DAMHA Chief Executive, Paul Mullis, said: “Housing association are operating in tough economic times, so to once again achieve this rating from the HCA is a significant achievement.
“I would like to pay tribute to the hard work of our staff and board members, as well as thanking our residents for their continued support.
“This rating ensures we can continue to plan for the future with confidence and concentrate on delivering the high quality services we pride ourselves on and providing much-needed two-bedroom bungalows for older people in our region.”
