Each year, in September, staff and Trustees from DAMHA undertake a site visit to some of our properties/schemes.
This time, we visited Pelton Lane Ends, and our largest (and arguably highest-profile scheme following the replica homes now in the 1950s town at Beamish Museum) at Marsden Road.
We also popped in to speak to residents living in our Bulmer House sheltered housing scheme which adjoin the Marsden Road bungalows.
The tour ended with a visit to a potential future site for new development, so watch this space for further details on this in the future….
DAMHA Chief Executive Paul Mullis said: “Our annual September away-day is always something our head office staff and Board of Trustees look forward to.
“It’s always nice meeting residents and hearing their experience of living in a DAMHA home and we are always made to feel very welcome.”
