Your terms of occupancy
As a beneficiary of an almshouse charity you are not a tenant within the normal legal meaning of the word.
The contract you sign when we allocate your your home, your Letter of Appointment, provides you with a licence to occupy your home, and is not a tenancy agreement.
However the Association cannot ask you to leave your home, or set aside your appointment, unless there are exceptional circumstances. You can find further details in your Residents Handbook.
