Our homes 

We have around 1,700 homes situated in former County Durham coalfield areas and in other parts of the North-East.

The homes are predominantly bungalows. These range from new build properties, through to properties that are over 100 years old but which meet modern standards.

In addition to general needs housing, we also provide leasehold properties which enable people to get on/remain on the property ladder.

Furthermore, we have two sheltered housing schemes that enable people to live independently but access support if needed.
