How to magnify web pages?

All modern browsers support scaling of screen resolution to allow users to enlarge the content of the webpage being viewed to be zoomed up and down to suit their needs.

Windows

Zoom in

To zoom into the webpage making all the content larger hold Ctrl (Control key) and press the (plus) + key.

Zoom out

To zoom out of the webpage making all the content smaller hold Ctrl (Control key) and press the (minus) - key.

Reset scale

To return the page to it′s standard magnification hold Ctrl (Control key) and press the (zero) 0 key.

Apple Mac

The same proceedures are used on Apple Macs but Ctrl is replaced by the Command key.

Compliance Officer

(The salary payable on commencement of employment is £25,375, after successful completion of 6 months probationary period salary will raise to £26,922.  April following year, £28,466 then following April £30,010 + essential car user allowance and mileage)

Due to an increase in regulatory demand and continuous positive growth we have the requirement for a full time Compliance Officer based in Chester le Street, offering a competitive salary + benefits.

Main Responsibilities

The Compliance Officer will be a standalone role.  You will be responsible to ensure that Durham Aged Mineworkers’ Homes Association complies with its legal and regulatory obligations in relation to landlord compliance, by the delivery of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be required to provide specialist knowledge, based on experience, and interpretation of current legislation; to ensure compliance streams are substantial, appropriate, and effective in the following areas:

  • Asbestos management
  • Gas safety
  • Water hygiene management.
  • Fire safety & maintenance.
  • Electrical safety
  • Lifts

About You

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experience, though we are looking for an officer who has knowledge and experience of working within the “big 6” areas.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of challenges facing the housing sector.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation including the statutory obligations for the areas managed.
  • Computer literacy with accurate and timely reporting skills.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in compliance and of working within social housing.
  • Holding a degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience in producing specifications; commissioning works & tendering processes
  • You must possess a full driving license & access to transport.
  • Commitment to equality and diversity in service delivery.
  • A resident first approach, risk aware and always ensure the safety of our residents.
