Gordon was appointed President in November 2008. Previously Vice Chairman for 8 years. He worked at Easington Colliery from 1966 until it closed in 1993. Involved with the local NUM and Aged Miners Committees and a past member of Durham DHSS Appeals Tribunals.
Lesley is the Clerk to Murton Parish Council and has over 25 years banking experience
Barbara has 10 years experience as a social worker for the Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation. Previously worked 15 years for South Tyneside Social Services.
Previously General Secretary of the Durham Enginemen's Association.
Ray has over 20 years housing experience having worked within Local Authority & Social Housing.
Derek was appointed to the Committee in November 2009 and is a resident of the Association. He served as a NUM Trade Union Secretary and as a Parish Councillor.
Sheila was appointed in 2010 and is a resident of the Association.
Una is currently a resident of the Association. She carries out voluntary work and was previously a dental nurse.
Cyril is a retired member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, with 30 years local government experience.
John had 22 years service with easington Colliery until it's closure, when he moved onto Walkers Snacks for a further 16 years.
A chartered accountant by qualification, Paul has worked with public interest, housing and construction entities throughout his 14 year career. He currently leads the delivery of audit and assurance services to the housing sector for one of the region’s top accountancy firms.
Stephen if a former Minor & NUM Official. He currently a Trade Union Officer in the Northern Region
