Computer wizard Lilo
Lilo Davies, (89), decided that she wanted to know about computers. And now she has become a bit of a computer wizard.
Having just passed her City & Guilds in word processing, Lilo has now embarked on a course on the Internet and e-mail.
Lilo, who is German by birth, said, “the computer helps me to maintain my independence. I have a lot of friends in various parts of the country and family in Germany, and when I develop my Internet skills I can keep in touch with everyone.”
Lilo remembers being fascinated by computers as long as 40 years ago. She said, “The first computer I saw virtually filled the room. Unfortunately the work that I was engaged in didn’t involve computers and I have had to wait until now to fulfill my ambition to use a computer.”
