Fred Coates retires
After providing plumbing and heating repairs for residents over the last 22 years, Fred has finally decided to hang up his tools and retire.
He started working for the Association during the bad winter of 1985-1986 when the standard of heating and insulation was a far cry from what it is today, and frozen pipes was a common complaint at that time.
Fred, who lives in Birtley said “I have really enjoyed my time working for DAMHA, during which, I have met some wonderful characters”.
Holidays are now high on Fred’s agenda “When you’re on call, you get very little opportunity for holidays, I intend to make up for lost time now”.
We all wish Fred many happy years of well earned retirement.
