New Resident Committee Member Wanted
The Association is looking to recruit a new Resident Committee Member and is inviting applications from residents living in our homes.
The Association is committed to Equal Opportunities and we would particularly like to hear from female applicants as the Executive Committee is currently under-represented by women.
As a resident of the Association you will have direct experience of living in one of our properties, and will have first-hand knowledge of the communities we serve and the service we deliver.
You will have experience of how we do things and that makes you best qualified to tell us what we are doing right or wrong and how it could be improved.
If you would like to help deliver the Association’s vision and goals by joining the Executive Committee, which comprises of 6 property Trustees and 8 additional elected trustees, (2 of which are residents) and could attend 6 Executive Committee meetings per year, 6 Sub Committee meetings per year and two training days. Please contact Caroline Rogers for an application pack.
This position is voluntary but reasonable out of pocket expenses will be paid and training will be given to help you build on the skills and knowledge you already have or require to become a resident committee member.
