Want to know how well your local services are tackling the big local issues? There’s now Oneplace for that.

Oneplace – at www.direct.gov.uk/oneplace - assesses how well your local services are working together to improve the problems affecting your community. It judges how well the council, police, health organisations and housing bodies are improving issues that are important to residents. This might include cutting crime, improving housing, helping people improve their health or supporting people and businesses to weather the recession.

Oneplace uses green flags to show where an area is doing something others can learn from and red flags where things are not on track to improve.

So, if you’re interested in how well your public services are working, you can get an independent view at Oneplace.
