Derek Gray
New Resident Trustee
In May 2008 the Association’s Executive Committee made a commitment to recruit a third resident committee member when a suitable vacancy arose.
In November 2009 following an advertisement in the Spring edition of the Banner Newsletter, Derek Gray of Edward Cain Court, Horden was appointed.
Derek, who lives with his wife Sheila worked for 35 years as an electrician in the mining industry and also served as a Trade Union Secretary and a Parish Councillor. He has served the residents of Edward Cain Court as the Resident Representative for 10 years.
Chief Executive, Gordon Gray said “Derek has a keen interest in the welfare of his fellow residents and will make a significant contribution to the Executive Committee”.
