Investors in People

Investors in People is the UK’s leading standard which assists all types and sizes of organisation to manage and develop their people which enables them to improve business performance, and in our case, provide better services for residents.

To achieve the standard, an organisation is measured on ten indicators of good practice e.g. learning and development, people management, leadership and management strategy, continuous improvement.

DAMHA was first awarded the Investors in People Standard in 1999 and is re-assessed every three years. The last assessment took place over two days in July 2009 after which it was confirmed that we had been successful in achieving the new revised standard. DAMHA Chief Executive, Gordon Gray said “The Association is all about people, and this award underlines our commitment to continually striving to improve ourselves and the services we provide for our residents”.
